Two minor students, who went missing since Wednesday, were traced in Hyderabad. The two were said to be safe and were on their way back to Vijayawada, the police said.
A boy and girl studying in eighth and ninth class respectively of a private school had gone to Hyderabad to celebrate the boy’s birthday. As the children did not return home after the school hours, parents searched in vain and lodged a complaint with the Krishnalanka police.
“The two children were traced in Hyderabad. We are bringing them back to Vijayawada, and they would be handed over to their parents,” South Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police D. Paavan Kumar told The Hindu on Thursday.
