MITS students told to master new technologies

The Freshers’ Day-2025 celebrations were held at Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) Deemed to be University in Madanapalle, on Tuesday. The event saw the new batch of students joining various programmes under the university. Atmakur WeXL Edu Limited, Hyderabad, Chief Operating Officer Kiran Srinivas was the chief guest of the occasion.

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by university founder and chancellor N. Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary; pro-chancellor N. Dwarkanath; Vice-Chancellor C. Yuvaraj; registrar D. Pradeep Kumar; principal P. Ramanathan; first-year student coordinators Srimantha Basu and Chandra Mohan, and other dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Kiran Srinivas Atmakur asked the students to focus on mastering new technologies by dedicating at least 10,000 hours of consistent practice. He emphasised that self-discipline and concentration are the cornerstones of success, and encouraged students to develop a global outlook by learning foreign languages to explore international job opportunities.

Meanwhile, Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary told the students to leverage the expertise of university’s faculty to build a promising future. He mentioned that India and Russia were entering into agreements to enhance global job opportunities for technical engineers. He also encouraged them to explore innovative fields such as microtasking technology, entrepreneurship, and research-driven industries.
