
Dakshina Kannada Member of Parliament Captain Brijesh Chowta participated in the foundation stone-laying ceremony for a toilet block to be constructed under MPLAD funds on Sunday, November 2, at Someshwara Beach in Mangaluru.

Dakshina Kannada Member of Parliament Captain Brijesh Chowta on Sunday, November 2, launched various development works to be executed under the MP Local Area Development Fund in Mangaluru (Ullal) Assembly constituency.
Capt. Chowta also inaugurated the 1st Cross Road at Vaidyanatha Nagar in Ullalbail on the occasion. The MP laid the foundation stone for a toilet complex to be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹18 lakh near Someshwara Beach for the visitors to the beach as well as the temple.
The temple management had urged the MP to provide such a facility when Capt. Chowta had participated in the ‘Yoga with Yodha’ programme during the International Day of Yoga recently at Someshwara Beach. Later, the MP laid the foundation stone for two rooms to be constructed at the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mudipu.
BJP Mangaluru Assembly Constituency President Jagadish Alva, former Mysuru Electrical Industries Chairman Santosh Kumar Boliyar, Someshwara Town Municipal Council President Kamala and Vice President Ravishankar, Kotekar Town Panchayat President Divya Shetty, and others were present.
