Mr. Kapikad described Tulunadu as a culturally rich “panchavarna bhoomi,” while expressing concern about cultural erosion amid rapid modernisation. “Such exhibitions highlight the importance of our land, culture and beliefs and offer hope for the future. It is through these artworks that the next generation will understand what our authentic cultural identity was,” he said.

He commended the artists for meaningfully expressing themes of native identity and contemporary social concerns through their works.

INTACH convener Subhas Chandra Basu introduced the programme. Member and artist Rajendra Kedige was present. The exhibition will remain open to the public from 11 am to 7 pm at Kodial Guthu Centre for Art and Culture.
