Nearly 40 domestic services of Indigo Airlines to and from the Kochi airport in Kerala remain delayed or cancelled as the chaos faced by the domestic airline continued for the second day running.

With the disruption continuing, the Kochi airport has issued a travel advisory without naming any particular airline advising passengers to verify the latest flight information with their respective airline.

“Certain domestic airlines are currently experiencing operational constraints, affecting services nationwide. CIAL (Cochin International Airport Limited) is in continuous coordination with airline operations teams to support passengers and ensure smooth functioning of airport services,” said the advisory issued on Thursday (December 4, 2025) at 10.30 a.m. It will take a while before normalcy of services is restored, said airport sources.

A city-based travel agent said the website of Indigo was “slow”, affecting accessibility of services.

Indigo had on Wednesday cancelled at least 200 flights and delayed several others by up to 12 hours nationwide following skewed pilot scheduling and cabin crew no-shows in Mumbai. The mass cancellations and delays have caused air fares in the domestic circuit to soar.
