Nellore Rural MLA to lay foundation stone for Pottepalem bridge on January 5

Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy on Saturday (December 6) announced that the foundation stone for Pottepalem Bridge in SPSR Nellore district will be laid on January 5, 2026. Addressing the media here, he said the bridge will be constructed at a cost of ₹5 crore, and it will be completed by the end of August 2026.

“The decades-old dream of the residents of Nellore city to have a bridge on Pottepalem sluice has finally come true. It will be dedicated to the people within next eight months. Before the completion of this bridge, the foundation stone for another bridge over Mulumudi sluice will also be laid,” he said. “Once the Mulumudi Bridge is completed, all the promises I have made during the recent elections will be fulfilled. Development is the only thing I can offer to the people who have given me hat-trick victory in the previous three Assembly elections with a huge majority,” the MLA said.
