The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has raked in ₹3,078 crore from the auction of plots in the Neopolis layout at Kokapet, where the highest price yield was a record ₹151.25 crore per acre.
Together with the auction of plots at Golden Mile layout, the urban development authority is eyeing for a revenue to the tune of ₹5,000 crore from the four phases of current auctions.
In the third phase of the auctions on December 3, one plot from Neopolis was secured by Yula Constructions LLP and Globus Infracon LLP at a valuation of ₹131 crore per acre, and another plot by Brigade Enterprises Limited at a valuation of ₹118 crore per acre, a statement from HMDA informed. With this, the auctions at Neopolis layout have been concluded in this cycle.
While the individual valuations in the third phase were modest in comparison to the exceptional numbers achieved in the earlier rounds, the combined effect across phases has been remarkable, the statement said.
The average price realisation per acre which rose to ₹142.83 crore at the layout during the previous auction, has now settled at ₹137.36 crore. However, it represents an exceptional increase of 87% over the price two years ago, at ₹73 crore, the statement said.
The fourth phase of the auctions is scheduled for December 5, at Golden Mile layout.
