The ninth annual edition of Mangaluru Kambala, organised by Mangaluru Kambala Samithi, will be held on December 27, its president Captain Brijesh Chowta said here on Sunday, November 2.
Speaking at a meeting organised by the Samithi to chalk out preparations for the event, Capt. Chowta, also Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada, said that nine programmes will be held to celebrate the ninth edition.
Among the programmes include the felicitation of entrepreneurs who have their roots in the coastal region and emerged as achievers in other parts of the country and abroad. Children will also be enlightened on the importance of kambala and its origin.
The kambala will be held at Goldfinch City in Bangra Kulur.
