The counselling services of the Bharosa Centre of Nirmal district police helped around 93 warring couples sort out their marital disputes amicably to live together peacefully.
The consistent efforts of the trained counsellors at the centre under the supervision of an inspector and a woman sub-inspector in counselling the quarrelling couples to settle their marital disputes cordially, bore fruit. Thanks to their dedicated efforts, as many as 93 couples have successfully reconciled and resumed their family lives in Nirmal district so far this year, the police said.
At a programme held in the District Police Headquarters on Wednesday, the staff of the Bharosa Centre received wide appreciation from the participants.
Superintendent of Police Janaki Sharmila presided over the programme. Principal District and Sessions Judge, Nirmal, S. Sreevani, was the chief guest.
The reunited couples expressed their gratitude to the personnel of the district SHE Team and the Bharosa Centre for extending their services with care and empathy. They thanked the SP for facilitating the counselling services through Bharosa Centre.
The SP reiterated that SHE Team’s mission is to provide safety, support and reassurance to women and children in distress and to ensure immediate solutions to their problems.
