Drinking water supply will remain suspended in the following areas of the city on Wednesday (December 3) due to repair work on the damaged pipeline announced by the Tiruchi Corporation.
The repair works for this leakage have been scheduled to commence after the morning drinking water supply on Tuesday. Therefore, drinking water supply to the overhead water tanks located at Marakkadai, Viragupettai, Chinthamani, Rockfort, Tiruverumbur, Valluvar Nagar, Old Ellakudi, Pugazh Nagar, Kaveri Nagar, Pari Nagar, Santhosh Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, and Alathur will remain suspended for a day.
Regular supply would be restored on Thursday (December 4), a Corporation press release said.
