A National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteer from Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science-Warangal (KITSW), V. Siddartha, successfully completed the National Adventure Camp-2025 held in Himachal Pradesh.
According to college principal K. Ashoka Reddy, Mr. Siddartha, a final-year B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student, trekked 80 kilometres and reached an altitude of 2,873 feet during the 10-day programme conducted from November 18 to 27 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Regional Mountaineering Centre, McLeodganj, Dharamshala. The camp was organised by the Regional Directorate of NSS, Hyderabad.
Mr. Siddartha was selected to represent Telangana after clearing the State-level selections held at Kakatiya University in November. As part of the camp, he underwent training in basic rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, jungle craft, survival techniques and leadership. He received a national-level appreciation certificate on completion.
