Eluru District Collector K. Vetri Selvi said that as part of NTR Bharosa pension distribution for the month of December, health pensions under CKDu programme will be delivered directly to the houses of beneficiaries in Gopinathapatnam Secretariat, Unguturu mandal, on Monday (December 1). Following the pension distribution, a public outreach programme will be held at Nallamadu.
The NTR Bharosa pension scheme, a flagship initiative of the State government, will see the payments begin at 7 a.m. on December 1. In Eluru district, a total of 2,59,688 beneficiaries are set to receive pensions amounting to ₹113.63 crore. The authorities have made arrangements to ensure 100 per cent distribution on the first day. Beneficiaries who are unable to receive pension on December 1 will have their payments disbursed on December 3 (Wednesday).
The district administration has mobilised 5,039 mandal secretariats and other government staff to facilitate smooth pension delivery. The Collector has directed that pension distribution begins promptly at 7 a.m. and that beneficiaries be informed in advance so that they can receive payments at home. The Rural Development Project Director has been tasked with ensuring coordination and communication with all beneficiaries to guarantee efficient delivery.
