A total of 1,21,946 untraceable, permanently shifted, deceased and duplicate or double entry voters have been identified during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Tirunelveli district.
Addressing the representatives of recognised political parties during the meeting held at the Collectorate on Thursday, District Collector R. Sukumar said 68,745 deceased voters, 6,960 untraceable voters, 40,715 permanently shifted voters, 5,330 double entry voters and 196 other voters have been detected during the ongoing SIR.
Of the 14,18,325 voters in the district, enumeration forms have been distributed to 13,78,028 electors. And, 8,69,098 filled-in enumeration forms (61.28%) have been uploaded.
Those who are yet to submit the filled-in forms for want of 2002 or 2005 electoral roll details should visit https://tirunelveli-electors.vercel.app or the scan the QR code meant for this purpose.
“Those who lived in other districts during 2002 or 2005 SIR and now live in Tirunelveli district may use this link or the QR code for getting the details for filling-up the enumeration forms. Or, the voters can seek the help of the Booth Level Officers who will help the voters in getting the details from this link,” Dr. Sukumar said.
Corporation Commissioner Monika Rana, District Revenue Officer M. Durai and others were present.
