Over 5,600 candidates appear for police constable recruitment written examination in Madurai city

Over 5,600 candidates, including around 1,200 women, appeared for the written examination for recruitment of constables, jail warders and firemen, conducted by Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board in Madurai.

The examinations were held at nine centres across the city.

Madurai Commissioner of Police J. Loganathan inspected the arrangements at the examination halls.

Strong police bandobust were deployed at all the centres.

The answer scripts were taken to Chennai with strong posse of policemen.
