Palmyrah seeds planted – The Hindu

Students of Tharuvaikulam Government Higher Secondary School planted palmyrah seeds near the Eco Development Park on Thursday.

Led by headmaster of the school Antony Ruban and physical education teacher S. Antony Ravikanth, 150 students including 80 girls planted palmyrah seeds along with the teachers.

In Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker M. Appavu participated in the palmyrah seeds planting drive along the Tamirabharani watercourse at Udaiyarpatti.
