Partial cancellation of train services between Dindigul and Sengottai

Since track renewal works are being carried out between Vadippatti and Sholavandan Railway Stations in Madurai Division, a pair of train services will be partially cancelled as mentioned below.

A release from Salem Railway Division said Train No. 16845 Erode Junction – Sengottai Express, scheduled to leave from Erode Junction at 2 p.m., will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Sengottai from November 30 to December 29, except on December 2, 9, 16, 23, 24 and 30. The train will run from Erode to Dindigul only, and it will not run from Dindigul to Sengottai on the above mentioned dates.

Similarly, Train No. 16846 Sengottai – Erode Junction Express, scheduled to leave from Sengottai at 5:10 a.m., will be partially cancelled between Sengottai and Dindigul from December 1 to 30, except on 3, 10, 17, 24 and 25. The train will not run from Sengottai to Dindigul, and it will leave from Dindigul and run up to Erode on the above-mentioned dates, the release added.
