Police headquarters in Chennai gets Media Relations Officer

J. Mutharasi, an IPS officer and Superintendent of Police (SP) has been posted as Spokesperson and Media Relations Officer, Chennai, in a newly created post in police headquarters. She will hold full additional charge of the post of Assistant Inspector General of Police, Law and Order, Chennai.

Avinash Kumar, Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Technical Services, has been given full additional charge as IGP, State Crime Records Bureau. Incumbent IGP of the State Crime Records Bureau V. Jeyashiri has been transferred to the Home Guards, Chennai.

C. Sangu, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), has been appointed as DCP, Red Hills, Traffic. K. Maheshwari, SP/principal, has been shifted from the Police Training School in Thoothukudi and appointed as principal, Police Training College in Chennai.
