Presidency University holds 8th convocation in Bengaluru, 4,953 students receive degrees

As many as 4,953 students, including 3,686 undergraduates, 1,233 postgraduates and 34 PhD scholars, were awarded degrees at the 8th convocation ceremony of Presidency University, Bengaluru, on November 29. 

Chancellor Nissar Ahmed and founder trustee Kauser Nissar Ahmed presided over the event.

Entrepreneur and UpGrad co-founder Ronnie Screwvala was the chief guest. He urged students to embrace entrepreneurship, take risks and view failure as part of growth. 

Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) Dr. S.J. Thiruvengadam presented the annual academic report, highlighting key achievements of 2024–25.
