The Rifle Association of Andhra Pradesh (RAAP) distributed prizes to the winners of XXV Andhra Pradesh State Shooting Championships-2025 in Guntur, on Sunday.
The nine-day competition, held at SATS Shooting Range, Gachibowli, in Hyderabad, included competitions in 10m Air Pistol, 25m Pistol, 50m Pistol, 10m Air Rifle/Open Sight Rifle, 50m Rifle, 50m Open Sight, Open Sight 3P, and 50m 3P categories for both men and women.
More than 520 athletes from across Andhra Pradesh took part in the competition. M. Mallikarjuna Nayak, Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department, Andhra Pradesh, attended the event as chief guest. He said that the championship reflects the State’s growing commitment to nurturing sporting excellence.
