The government has allocated additional subjects to the following AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territories) cadre officers.
According to a government order issued by Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan on the approval of the Lieutenant Governor, Krishna Mohan Uppu, (AGMUT 2009 cadre), Development Commissioner-cum-Secretary shall, in addition to the charges already held by him, hold charge of the subjects of School Education and Sports & Youth Affairs.
R. Smitha, (AGMUT 2011), Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Labour) has been given additional charge of Social Welfare and Backward Classes & Minorities Welfare. She is also appointed as Chairman, PONCARE.
Mohammed Ahsan Abid, (AGMUT 2014), Secretary to Government, has been additionally allocated Higher & Technical Education while A. Vikranth Raja, (AGMUT 2015), Secretary to Government-cum-Director Industrial Development, Trade and Commerce has been entrusted with the subjects Civil Supplies, Co-operation and Law. He is also appointed as Managing Director, AFT and SBTML and Managing Director, Pondicherry Cooperative Sugar Mills.
Choudhary Mohammed Yasin, (AGMUT 2015), Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Commercial Taxes) shall, in addition to the charges already held by him, hold charge of Health and Family Welfare and Women and Child Development, the order stated.
