The district administration has notified emergency helpline numbers for the people to contact in view of the very heavy rainfall warning issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre for November 28 and 29.
The Emergency Control Room at the District Collector’s Office can be reached by dialling 04365-1077. The public can call the toll-free number 1800-233-4233 or the WhatsApp number 8110005558 for any assistance. The control rooms would function round-the-clock, Collector P. Akash said in a press release.
