Children below the age of 12 will be given free entry to the century-old Mysuru zoo on the occasion of the Karnataka Rajyotsava on Saturday.
The entry to the zoological gardens will be free from 8:30 a.m. to 12 a.m., a press release from the zoo said.
However, parents and teachers accompanying children have to purchase entry tickets for touring the zoo campus, the release added.
Children have been getting free entry to the zoo on the occasion of Children’s Day for many years.
