Searchlight Pictures have offered the first full look at Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, expanding the horror franchise’s expanded mythology. The film arrives in theaters on April 10, reuniting Samara Weaving with directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett as Grace steps into a deadlier round of the Le Domas family’s blood-drenched tradition.

According to the official synopsis, the sequel picks up “moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family,” with Grace now discovering she has entered what the ruling houses call “the next level of the nightmarish game.” She’s joined by her estranged sister Faith — played by Kathryn Newton — whose presence complicates the violence closing in around them. Four rival families are hunting Grace for control of the High Seat, the power center that determines who reigns over the secretive order.

The new trailer leans into its expanded ensemble. Sarah Michelle Gellar appears as Ursula Danforth, a ruthless scion of one of the rival families. Shawn Hatosy, David Cronenberg, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng and Elijah Wood round out the cast.

The original Ready or Not (2019) charted Grace’s initiation into the wealthy Le Domas clan, turning a wedding-night hazing ritual into a survival gauntlet. The sequel, scripted by returning writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, builds directly from that chaotic finale.

Producers Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak and Bradley J. Fischer are back as well, solidifying a full-circle return for the creative team behind the cult hit.
