In a dazzling finale to the Telangana Rising Global Summit, the State government is gearing up to host a record-breaking drone show at Bharat Future City on December 9 where a Guinness World Record will be attempted for the world’s longest aerial sentence using 3,000 synchronised drones.
The key attraction will be the sentence “Telangana is Rising. Come, Join the Rise,” formed mid-sky by thousands of LED-equipped drones. This will be aimed at surpassing the existing Guinness record set with 2,131 drones at Abu Dhabi.
According to CMO officials, the show is designed as a spectacular visual tribute to Telangana’s transformative blueprint under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Blending art, technology, and storytelling, the drone formations will depict the State’s aspirations for the next 22 years.
A highlight of the evening will be the visual narration of Telangana’s three-zone economic model – the core urban region economy (CURE), peri-urban region economy (PURE), and rural agricultural region economy (RARE). Through intricate formations, the drones will capture the government’s vision for balanced and integrated development across the State.
Another major attraction will be a detailed depiction of an expanded Metro Rail route map, underscoring Telangana’s focus on mobility, urban connectivity, and cutting-edge infrastructure.
The finale will feature vibrant, multi-coloured formations inspired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s mantra: “Women are the foundation, farmers are the backbone, and youth the future of our government.” These visuals will represent flagship initiatives aimed at empowering women, supporting farmers, and creating opportunities for young people.
