SASTRA law students emerge victorious in international moot court competition

Three students, Treasy Nilopher, Ramya Vijayakumar and Achuda Manickam, from SASTRA School of Law were adjudged winners of the first Accordia International Arbitration Moot Court Competition.

The competition was conducted jointly by Dexon Global Centre for Legal Studies Policy and Research, Nottingham Law School, UK, and Numen Law offices, Delhi. The final rounds were held online on October 27.

A total of 80 teams participated in the competition and the SASTRA team bagged a cash prize of ₹12,000 and an internship with Numen Law Offices and free publication in Beyond Briefs Law review, according to a SASTRA press release.
