Seminar-cum-expo on footwear heritage from November 28 to 30

Pleach India Foundation and Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) Hyderabad, will host ‘National exhibition and seminar on footwear heritage’ from November 28 to 30 at the FDDI, Hyderabad campus.

Governor Jishnu Dev Varma is scheduled to inaugurate the three-day event. The event is aimed at highlighting India’s rich footwear heritage, craft traditions, design evolution and include talks by experts, designers and heritage specialists. All students, researchers, have designers, artisans and the public are invited to participate.

A curtain raising ceremony was held at FDDI Hyderabad in the presence of Executive Director, FDDI Hyderabad, N. T. Lohit Reddy, chairperson Pleach India Foundation Tejaswini Yarlagadda, CEO Pleach India Foundation Emani Sivanagireddy, along with faculty, staff, and students.
