Seven new bus services launched in Pudukottai

Minister for Law S. Regupathy and Minister for Backward Classes Welfare Siva V. Meyyanathan on Monday flagged off seven new bus services in Pudukottai.

The services include routes from Pudukottai to Rangiyam and Virachilai, Alangudi to Pudukottai, Aranthangi to Kothamangalam, Gandarvakottai to Pudukottai, Keeranur to Koppampatti, and Keeranur to Sengipatti. The bus services were inaugurated at the Pudukottai new bus stand.

Speaking at the function, Mr. Meyyanathan said the seven new bus services connecting rural and urban areas had been introduced for the benefit of local students, women, workers, and senior citizens.

Collector M. Aruna, Mayor S. Thilagavathi Senthil and other senior officials were present.
