Students Federation of India (SFI) has called for a round table meeting in Haveri on Sunday to discuss the State government’s plans for merger of rural schools by establishing Karnataka Public Schools in panchayat levels.
“We are inviting educationists, experts, writers, artists, teachers, parents, SDMC presidents, members, like-minded individuals and progressive organisation leaders to the meeting,” it said.
Activists Basavaraj S., Chaitra Korvar, Fakiresh Magalmani, Arun Nagavath and others will be present, said a release.
