Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s banner Red Chillies Entertainment on Sunday (November 2) unveiled the title reveal teaser of the actor’s much-awaited next, King, on the occasion of his 60th birthday. Directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously helmed the superstar in Pathaan, King is set to release in theatres in 2026.

“How many people did I kill? I don’t know,” says Shah Rukh’s character as we enter the world of King. “Were they good? Were they bad? I never asked. All I remember is seeing fear in their eyes, that this is their last breath. And I was the reason for it,” he goes on, as we see the carnage he unleashes on his victims.

“I am not fear. I am destruction,” he signs off. Interestingly, the teaser also hints that the superstar will don two looks in King — one in salt-and-pepper and the other in his classic long hairdo.

Other details regarding the plot and the crew remain under wraps. King has Deepika Padukone starring as the female lead, marking her sixth collaboration with Shah Rukh. Notably, the superstar’s daughter, Suhana Khan, and actor Jaideep Ahlawat will also play pivotal roles in the film.

King is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
