SIR fieldwork in Thalumkandam tribal hamlet completed in a day

District election officials completed fieldwork for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls in a tribal hamlet in Kothamangalam Assembly constituency in a day. Enumeration forms for voter rolls revision were distributed to 112 voters from around 40 houses in Booth 30 of Thalumkandam hamlet in Edamalayar on Sunday (November 9, 2025). The filled-in forms were collected back on the same day.

Deputy Collector (Election) Sunil Mathew led the day-long drive. Members of the Electoral Literacy Club and National Cadets Corps of Mar Athanasius College, Kothamangalam, also participated in the drive. The fieldwork was initiated by handing over the enumeration form to Madhavan Moily, the head of the tribal hamlet.
