Virudhunagar district administration has organised special camps at all the 1,901 polling booths across Virudhunagar district from November 28 to 30 to facilitate voters to collect their enumeration forms, help them verify their names in the 2002 electoral roll and to hand back the filled-in forms to the booth-level officers.
In a statement, Virudhunagar Collector N. O. Sukhaputra, said that the camps will facilitate the voters working in outstations.
Voters who have not yet received the enumeration forms and those who have not submitted the filled-in forms can make use of these special camps.
A total of 16,02,728 enumeration forms out of 16,26,485 forms have, so far, been distributed to the voters.
Besides, 10,66,402 or 65.56% of enumeration forms that were submitted by the voters from the seven Assembly constituencies in the district have been digitised till Thursday morning.
Besides, 74,611 voters have been identified as absentees, shifted from their last residential address or dead.
The officials have identified that a total of 447 booth level officers out of 1,901 BLOs have more than 400 enumeration forms pending for digitising.
