The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls will be carried out in all the 10 Assembly constituencies in Coimbatore district from November 4 to December 4, 2025, District Election Officer and Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar said in a release.

A total of 3,568 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be engaged in the door-to-door verification work.

During the verification period, each voter will receive two copies of the Enumeration Form — one to be retained and the other to be returned to the BLO after filling in the details. No supporting documents are required to be attached to the form.

Persons who have completed 18 years of age can apply for inclusion in the electoral roll using Form 6 along with a declaration.

If a voter is not available at home or if the house is found locked, the BLO will visit the residence at least three times to verify the details. Those temporarily away can also submit the enumeration form online at https://voters.eci.gov.in.

Only those whose filled forms are received during the enumeration period will have their names included in the draft rolls to be published on December 9, 2025.

Voters whose names are missing from the draft rolls can submit claims and objections with supporting documents between December 9, 2025 and January 8, 2026, while verification and inquiry will continue until January 31, 2026. The final electoral rolls will be released on February 7, 2026.
