Special prayers offered in Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi temple

With the beginning of the auspicious month of Margasiram, devotees offered special prayers at Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi temple located on the premises of Sri Abhayanjaneya Swamy temple at Old Bus Stand of Fort City on Friday.

Temple trustee V.K. Gayatri Sarma performed Ksheerabhisekham and Kumkumarchana to the presiding deity. He told the media that Lakshmi Ganapati homam and Mahalakshmi homam would be conducted every day on the temple premises till December 19, the last day of Margasira masam, the ninth month of Telugu calendar. He said the temple management would hold cultural, spiritual and charitable activities during the month.
