The Academy of Music will host the Sri K.K. Murthy Memorial Music Festival 2025 from November 5 to 9 at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Vyalikaval in Bengaluru.
The five-day celebration of Indian classical music features daily lobby concerts by young artistes from 4.45 p.m. to 5.45 p.m., followed by main concerts from 6 p.m.
Festival highlights include performances by Kaushiki Chakraborty, Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma’s percussion ensemble Laya Lavanya, Visakha Hari’s Harikatha, and the Hindustani concert Suran Me Ras Tum Ho.
On November 9, the Chowdiah Award will be conferred on Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma, with other honours also being presented.
The festival will conclude with a violin concert by Dr. L. Subramaniam and party.
