St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, and The Hindu Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday to launch The Hindu Future India Club (FIC) on its campus.
The Hindu FIC is a signature educative program that is a key component of The Hindu Group’s LAB (Learning & Bridging) initiative.
The MoU was signed and exchanged by Praveen Martis, Vice-Chancellor of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), and Sridhar Aranala, vice-president (Sales & Distribution) of The Hindu Group.
Through curated programs like interactive workshops, guest lectures, and competitions, the FIC aims to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom learning and real-world professional readiness. The programme’s core benefit is to cultivate enhanced employability by focusing on the development of critical skills such as communication, leadership, teamwork, and analytical thinking. Students gain a deeper understanding of current affairs and world perspectives through access to quality news and content resources from The Hindu Group, ultimately nurturing well-rounded individuals prepared to contribute meaningfully to society.
“This partnership re-establishes our commitment to the students of the institution as well as to the society, and both St. Aloysius and The Hindu Group are premier historical institutions which have come together to establish this association,” the V-C said.
