Fulfilling its commitment to employee unions, the State government released ₹707.30 crore towards pending employee bills for the month of November.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, who holds the Finance portfolio, had earlier assured unions that more than ₹700 crore would be cleared every month to address long-pending dues.
Acting on his instructions, officials of the Finance Department sanctioned and released ₹707.30 crore, marking the fourth consecutive month in which the government has disbursed substantial funds to settle employee claims.
The cleared bills include gratuity, General Provident Fund (GPF) settlements, surrendered leave encashment, and various advances that had accumulated over time. Officials noted that the systematic monthly clearing of dues reflects the government’s commitment to employee welfare and financial transparency.
