Students raise ₹4.2 lakh to support visually impaired musicians

A team of 13 visually challenged musicians from Simhachalam, led by Y. Amminaidu, recently gave an orchestra performance for the children of the School of Wonder Kids at its city and Gajuwaka branches.

Moved by their performance, students of the School of Wonder Kids collectively donated ₹4,20,110 to support the visually challenged artists.

A cheque for the same amount was formally presented by TDP State president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivas Rao, in the presence of the school’s chairperson Malla Ramu Naidu, and director M. Vanisri.

Mr. Malla Ramu Naidu expressed his gratitude to the children and their parents for their generous contributions and appreciated the teachers for their sincere efforts in motivating the students towards this noble cause.
