The seven-member supervisory committee appointed by the Supreme Court visited Mullaperiyar reservoir on Monday.
Water Resources Department officials said the panel, headed by Anil Jain, Chairman, National Dam Safety Authority, visited the reservoir with officials from both Kerala and Tamil Nadu. As per the Supreme Court directive, the committee also had experts from the Central Water Commission and other agencies.
