T.N. elders’ welfare bodyseeks simplified SIR forms

The Election Commission (EC) must simplify the Special Intensive Revision enumeration forms and provide postal ballot papers to those aged above 80 for the Tamil Nadu Assembly election. In a representation submitted to the EC, the Tamil Nadu Elders’ Welfare Association’s president K.S. Subramanian said voters, particularly senior citizens, experienced difficulties in filling the SIR enumeration forms. Senior citizens must be allowed to cast their vote through postal ballots, considering their age and health conditions, even without having to submit separate requests.
