Team India and the South African cricket team are set to reach Visakhapatnam on Thursday (December 4), ahead of the One Day International (ODI) match scheduled to take place on December 6 at the Dr YSR ACA VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Both teams will be arriving on a special flight from Raipur and are expected to land at the airport around 4 p.m., from where they will head straight to their hotels. As per information, practice sessions will be held on Friday.
Commissioner of Police Shankabratha Bagchi, has reviewed security arrangements in coordination with the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) officials. A detailed route watch was carried out along the pathway the teams will be using on Thursday to ensure safe movement.
Meanwhile, ACA operations team, led by ACA Chief Operating Officer (COO) Girish Dongree carried out a thorough inspection of the ground, pitch, seating and stadium facilities on Wednesday to ensure an enjoyable experience for both players and the large crowd expected to attend.
Mr. Dongree stressed the need to maintain high standards in all arrangements to preserve the stadium’s reputation and to ensure that the event becomes a memorable sporting occasion. He also expressed confidence that every setup and facility would be fully in place for the final encounter.

It was reported that the third lot of tickets released by the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) on Wednesday evening were sold out in under 15 minutes, indicating that the stadium will be filled to capacity for the much-anticipated match.
