A 35-year-old software engineer was killed after losing control over the motorcycle he was riding and crashed into the road median in Judicial Layout on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Anand. A resident of Attur, Anand was working in a tech company at Manyata Tech park and returning home from work.
Police suspected that he was overspeeding and lost control and crashed into the median. He sustained severe injuries and passers-by called an ambulance before alerting the police.
He was rushed to Yelahanka General Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
