Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy conducted aerial survey of the flood-hit Warangal and Hanamkonda districts on Friday (October 31, 2025) afternoon. These were among the districts which received floods under the impact of cyclone Montha this week. Along with his Cabinet colleagues, Mr. Reddy assessed the situation in Husnabad, Koheda, Bheemdevarpally, Akkanapet, Elkurthi mandals. Later, he checked houses, roads and other places which bore the impact and spoke to people there.
The flood disrupted normal life as water entered houses, inundated roadways and heavy rain damaged crops under cultivation and fresh harvest too. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswar Rao, citing preliminary reports, said the Government assessed the crop loss in about 4.48 lakh acres of 2.53 lakh farmers in a dozen districts.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar and Vem Narender Reddy, Advisor to Chief Minister.
