Telangana Congress MPs are gearing up to raise key pending issues of the State during the upcoming Winter Session of Parliament, scheduled to commence on Monday, said Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy. The issues include the Regional Ring Road (RRR), Regional Ring Rail, Musi River Rejuvenation project, Urban Challenge Fund for local bodies, new railway route approvals, and the demand for Warangal, Kothagudem and Peddapalli airports, along with other long-pending central financial sanctions.
In a statement here on Sunday, he said that with only 15 sittings, they will coordinate with all opposition parties to ensure Telangana’s issues and national concerns are strongly raised. He also added that MPs from Telangana will highlight national concerns, such as irregularities in the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists and other issues. He said that the Congress and the INDI Alliance will push for electoral reforms while resisting the government’s priority legislation.
