Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit was purely an economic meeting.
The objective of the summit is to announce the State’s progressive approach and economic roadmap for next two decades through the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document in line with TG’s ambitious goal of becoming a US $3 trillion economy by 2047.
The CM convened a review meeting along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and senior officials on Friday. He said the larger plan behind the event was to showcase its success at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos in the coming days.
He instructed officials to ensure that delegates got quality experience at the summit in Bharat Future City. Officials explained about the logistics and other arrangements being made at the venue as well as the programme schedule.
Giving suggestions on finalising the vision document, he directed officials to give priority to content on future growth plans. Steps should be taken to ensure the availability of the policy document online for everybody, he said.
Mr. Vikramarka and some other Ministers would release a minute-to-minute schedule of the summit on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in view of the ongoing flight cancellations across the country, the CM instructed officials to consult the Union Civil Aviation Ministry to resolve any issues with respect to flights to and from Hyderabad.
