The Division of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology at Kovai Medical Center and Hospital conducted the 10th edition of Covai Heart Rhythm Summit (CHRS) ‘Cardiac Update 2025’ on Sunday.

CHRS organising secretary M. Lawrance Jesuraj said the summit in the field of electrophysiology covered newer advances in the management of cardiac arrhythmias and was attended by 20 national faculties and over 200 doctors.

KMCH executive director Arun N. Palaniswami said the summit played a major role in creating awareness among physicians and the general public about cardiac arrhythmias, obstacles faced by doctors in successfully treating patients such as late diagnosis and delayed referral to electrophysiologists.

KMCH chairman Nalla G. Palaniswami said the Division of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology at KMCH has been a pioneer in managing patients with cardiac arrhythmias and also in spreading knowledge in that field.
