Thatchanallur police seized 140 kg of ganja from a locked and abandoned vehicle in the late hours of Saturday.
Police said, acting on a tip-off, the police were on a patrol, when they found a Kerala registered sedan car parked suspiciously in Karaiyiruppu area. Since the car was locked, police broke the window and searched it. They discovered 140 kg of ganja stored inside. Police seized the vehicle and ganja stored inside.
A case has been registered at Thatchanallur police station and police are searching for those involved in the crime.
