The Thirukkalyanam festival for Goddess Karpagambigai Amman will be held on October 31 at the temple in Kokkali Thottam near Ondipudur in Coimbatore city, which is looked after by a Muslim, locally known as Kuthus Bhai.

On October 30, teertha kalasams will be brought from Arumuga Gounder Vinayagar Temple in a procession with traditional music and fireworks. The Thirukkalyanam will take place between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. on October 31, followed by annadhanam for devotees.

According to the temple secretary, the temple was built 25 years ago with the involvement of Kuthus Bhai, who was engaged in the oil trade in the area. He continues to support temple activities, including the conduct of two consecration ceremonies and monthly pujas.
