Three SDRF teams positioned in Nagapattinam district, two deputed to Cuddalore district

Three teams of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been positioned in Nagapattinam district, as part of the precautionary measures for the northeast monsoon. Two SDRF teams have been deputed to Cuddalore district, the Tamil Nadu government said on Tuesday.

Commissioner of Revenue Administration M. Sai Kumar chaired a meeting at Ezhilagam complex here to review the steps undertaken in Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Pudukkottai districts, where heavy rain had been predicted.
