Thrissur Ragam theatre operator stabbed outside home

Thrissur Ragam theatre operator and his driver were injured in a gang attack on Thursday. The police have intensified the investigation. Early indications point to financial dispute as the motive behind the attack.

Sunil. A.K, also a film producer and distributor, and his driver Aneesh were hacked on Thursday night outside Sunil’s house at Valappaya in Thrissur. When Aneesh stepped out of the car to open the gate, a three-member gang rushed at him with weapons. They smashed the car’s glass and attacked Sunil.

Sunil sustained injuries to his leg, while Aneesh suffered a wound on his arm. The Medical College police have launched a detailed probe.
