After the devastating impact of Cyclone Montha, Andhra Pradesh is unlikely to experience any significant rainfall in the immediate aftermath.

According to the India Meteorological Department in Amaravati, the weather across most parts of the State is expected to remain largely stable over the next few days.

As the system has moved away, no major weather activity is forecast for November 1, 2025 (Saturday). From November 2, 2025 (Sunday) onwards, thunderstorm activity may gradually return, beginning with isolated occurrences over Rayalaseema, and later extending to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 3 and 4.

These are expected to be localised thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning. No widespread rains are forecast.

While the cyclone brought heavy destruction and rainfall across the coastal regions, the post-cyclone period appears relatively subdued, with only scattered thunderstorms forecast in some parts of the State towards the end of the five-day outlook.
